Distance from Airport

The Galt House is approximately 7.3 miles from the Louisville International Airport.

Parking

Self-parking conference rate is $22 per night in the East Tower parking Garage or $40 for Valet.

Fitness Center

All overnight guests will have complimentary use of Club 360 Fitness Center in the Galt House.

Louisville Climate

In Louisville, the summers are hot and muggy, the winters are very cold and wet, and it is partly cloudy year round. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 28°F to 88°F and is rarely below 12°F or above 94°F.

Based on the tourism score, the best time of year to visit Louisville for warm-weather activities is from mid-June to mid-September.

Opening Reception Transportation

The Opening Reception is being held at Churchill Downs on Sunday, October 5 from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Chartered buses will be departing from the Galt House West Tower lobby at 5:45 PM. Buses will run continuously between the hotel and Churchill Downs throughout the evening. Last return bus leaves at 10:00 PM.
